Diane Cramer, author of several definitive medical astrology books, will give a lecture and workshop for the Astrological Society of Connecticut on this fascinating specialty. Diane will speak on “Nutrition and Your Health: Identifying Nutritional Imbalances in Natal Charts”, Thursday April 21, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Keeney Memorial Center, 200 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT. In this lecture each planet is explained in relation to nutrition with extra information given on Mars and Saturn in the signs.
On Saturday April 23, 2011 Diane gives a more comprehensive presentation with the workshop “Introduction to Medical Astrology” at Fisk Hall, 262 High St., Middletown, CT from 10 AM to 5PM. During this workshop, Diane will examine the implications for health shown by the planets and signs, delving into the cardinal, fixed and mutable qualities of the zodiac signs and their relation to health. Diane will discuss determining strengths and weaknesses in a chart and identifying astrological significators of disease. She’ll explain how to utilize predictive techniques to determine the severity and duration of disease and outline treatment options based on the natal chart.

The Astrological Society of Connecticut is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization; one of the largest and most active local astrological organizations in the United States, it is dedicated to educating people interested in astrology, sponsoring lectures, workshops, fund-raising fairs, and social activities.
The lecture is free to ASC members, $10 for the general public. A pre-lecture for $5 will be held a 6:30 PM explaining the general terms and principles of the upcoming lecture.
